>From the west coast I tried for years to get others to try digital on
144mhz to no avail. Other than the EME and meteor scatter guys everyone
else always has some excuse for why they don't. Here in MI I've had a
little more success at getting people to try digital, but for the most part
it is just like my experiences on the west coast, and that is they are
either not interested and indifferent or irrationally hostile to the idea.
I'll participate if you can get it started but I'm done, sorry to say, with
trying to actively recruit people to experiment with digital modes.

If anyone on the list wants to experiment you can find me on the KST 6m and
2m chat most of the time and I'll be happy to oblige.
