Is there anyone in or near Michigan that would like to try PSK-31 on 144
MHz? The guys in Texas are giving it a try. Might be something
interesting to do until the propagation improves. Here is info on what
they are doing in Texas.

--------------------

We’ll be at it again; Saturday Morning, 2-meter PSK-31 round table at
8:00 a.m. central time. Frequency, 144.150, USB.
There are a handful of us in the east Texas area, EM22 that will be on
the air calling CQ on BPSK-31 from 8:00 a.m. until around 9:00 a.m.
We have made contacts with stations in the Dallas and Houston Areas
using 20 to 25 watts.
For the most part we are all using horizontally polarized antennas, but
if you only have a vertical, go ahead and give a listen and or a call.
We will hijack the Rusk County Amateur Radio Club’s chat page again to
coordinate with each other.
Go here, http://www.ruskcountyarc.com/ then click on the NET tab and
sign in as a guest with your call sign, followed by your name.

We eventually migrate to 144.200 and try some USB voice contacts, so
keep that in mind as we get closer to 9:00 a.m.
