Thanks for the support. 
Prior 2018 HamRadioNow / ARVN recorded the DCC sessions since 2008. The creator, Gary, KN4AQ usually created a fund raiser or Kickstarter to cover his expense. TAPR also has contributed towards covering the video recorder's expenses. 
Do you plan to attend the DCC?

Seems like the TAPR should 'foot the bill' to have their stuff recorded, or at the least, find a sponsor for this, or even barring that, make the recordings available early for a fee, eventually releasing them for free?
There is only about 10 days left in the kickstarter, and they are short about $1000, so it's going to take a concerted effort to get it fully funded.  It's an all or nothing campaign, so if they miss the mark, no one gets charged, and nothing gets video-taped, either.
I guess I'm used to much higher charges for conferences these days, so I figure the TAPR DCC is a bargain.
Two days at Blackhat briefings, for instance, is about $2000.  That, plus airline, meals, hotel, and car, comes to about $4K.  Glad I'm not paying for it.
