So I was sitting around thinking the other night. I know,
Tom thinking.<br>

I was looking at the 6 meter FFMA award. 488 contiguous
states. The deal <br>
is, if even 100 sq feet of US land touches that grid, is
is part of the <br>
488.<br>

So I investigated Michigan. Please correct and challenge
me on this, but <br>
I show Michigan qualifies for 24 grids. They are:<br>

EN 58<br>
EN 57 67<br>
EN46 56 66 76 86<br>
EN 55 65 75 85<br>
EN 64 74 84<br>
EN 63 73 74<br>
EN 62 72 82<br>
EN 61 71 81<br>

We all know EN86 and EN67 have very small slivers of
Michigan, well <br>
check out EN58. The FFMA rules state that you just have to
work the <br>
grid, not necessarily a US ham inside that grid. Our
Canadians friends <br>
help us out on that.<br>

So I would like to ask the question. Has any one on this
list worked all <br>
24 Michigan grids, on all bands combined, 6 meter and
above? Or even <br>
just 6?<br>

I was surprised to see how few I've worked, part due to
the doughnut <br>
affect on 6.<br>
<br>
Would it be interesting to look at a possible award for
working all 24 <br>
Michigan grids? (and maybe start at 16 and 20 grids?)<br>
<br>
Just curious on who has the bragging rights for the most
Michigan grids.<br>
