The attached announcement is being sent out today to the major VHF Radio Clubs and organizations in order to set the dates for the 2024 Fall Sprints and inform everyone about the change in responsibility from the Southeast VHF Society to the Mt. Air VHF Radio Club (The Packrats).

Fall VHF Sprints responsibility moving to the Mt. Airy VHF Radio Club
After moderating the Fall VHF Sprints for the past 17 years, the Southeast VHF Society has relinquished the responsibility of conducting the Fall Sprints to the Mt. Airy VHF Radio Club (The Packrats) as of January 1st, 2024. We wish to thank SEVHF for their past stewardship of the Fall Sprints and all their efforts to maintain this valued VHF / UHF tradition.
The Mt. Airy VHF Radio Club has selected a committee to take over the orchestration of the Fall Sprints and Phil, WA3NUF, has accepted the position of chairperson of the Sprint committee. 
The dates for the 2024 Fall Sprints have been selected and are included below:
50 MHz     8/10/2024144 MHz   9/9/2024222 MHz   9/17/2024432 MHz   9/25/2024902 Up      10/5/2024
The Fall Sprint rules will be published in the next few months. The location of the rules and other Fall Sprint webpage information is expected to be eventually hosted on the Mt. Airy VHF Radio Club website:   https://packratvhf.com/
