Thanks for sharing this.  Bill was an excellent operator, and he was faithful in running the Sidewinders net.  It's still on the air on Sunday nights at 8:30 PM on 144.155 USB.  He will not be forgotten.

For many years, Bill ran a 2M SSB Net at 144.155 Mhz on Sunday evenings.  When he moved up north some years ago; he gave up the net known as the Sidewinders Around Michigan.  The net is still going and is conducted by the Michigan VHF-UHF Society; still on Sunday evenings.  I am not sure of the time though.  Maybe someone else knows it.
