Hello everyone,
Spring is around the corner, and so is more VHF/UHF operating!  Most of you know that I have moved to a new QTH, and I have limited antennas up right now.  So, we have had a number of people step up, and act as net control to keep the net operating.  I'd like to thank Rick - KR8T, Gary - WD8LDL and Barry KE8JCD (and others) for keeping the net going.
I've received lots of positive comments about keeping the net and also some good ideas to make it better:
- Having multiple, geographically separated net controls each cover a part of the net to help signals get further out.  For example, one net control in Grand Rapids, one in Kalamazoo, and one in Lansing.
- Have a Zoom meeting that runs along with the net to allow people to see who is checking in and which direction the net control station is pointing their antenna, among other things.
