[Mich VHF UHF Society] 2 m beacon going up

These are the beacons that I can hear regularly here in Spring Lake:

144.295 K8MM     EN83fa MI Flint        12W horizontal omni HB Squalo @ 95'.
144.297 WD9BGA   EN53ba WI Blue Mounds  10W to pair of HO loops 1900' asl.

There is supposed to be a beacon on 144.287 in Ludington by W8VHF, but I 
have never heard it. There is another on 144.282 in Standish by WI8Z, 
but again, I have not heard it. N8PUM has one on 144.278 in Ishpeming, 
but it is too far from me under normal conditions.

I would recommend somewhere between 144.288 and 144.293 MHz.
