James,

This is the first I have heard of this antenna manufacturer. I looked at both the 2m & 70cm antennas and they look to be well made. However, I am not sure they would be easy to mount on a vehicle. I am looking for a replacement for my old 2 meter KB6KQ loop that lost an argument with a tree.

Also the photos show they use UHF connectors and I would prefer N connectors. My other concern is how well they would survive in MI winters with all the salt spray from the roads as they are non-anodized aluminum.

The manufacturer appears to be Danny Althouse (N0RBN) in Oscoda, MI.

If you buy these antennas, I would be interested in how you mounted them on your vehicle and how they performed.

73,

John, N8WNA

Has anyone used this Michigan based dealer/manufacturer's 2m and 70cm Halos either for home or rovering?

Considering purchasing two of each if they offer phasing harnesses.

They are listing on ebay.
