Hi Roger,
I would also be interested in the Cebik Triangle antenna plans.
Thanks, Phil, K8PVH

Mike,
I CQ'ed your direction on 144.205 several times last night but didn't hear anything from you. I remember using a vertical on 2m SSB when I first moved to Spring Lake. I could barely check into the Sunday night net that Bill calls from Holland, and he was only 20 miles away. A good 2m horizontal omni is the Cebik triangle - fairly easy to make and very omnidirectional. I can send you the plans if interested.

I was unable to make any contacts last night for the 2M VHF Spring Sprint but this wasn't surprise since my set up is less than ideal at the moment. I did try calling CQ on both SSB and FM.
Next up, I will be trying 222MHz, FM only for next week's Spring Sprint. Even less ideal setup than the 2M station I used this week. Only an HT into a rubber duck antenna at 5W unless I can throw together a better antenna this weekend (the only thing I could possibly improve at this moment).

I will be on 2M this evening from EN72an around 8:30PM Eastern. Not the most ideal setup, running into a vertical only about 15ft off the ground but I can do both SSB and FM.
