The UC Cube Cats in cooperation with the UC Amateur Radio Club will be 
launching a High Altitude Balloon tomorrow April 9 at 12:00 PM from 
Rising Sun Indiana.

The balloon and its payload are anticipated to reach 90,000-100,000ft.
The payload will be beaconing on APRS on 144.39 MHz as W8YX-11 (With a 
backup tracker identifying as W8YX-6)

there will also be an FM SSTV downlink at 431.000MHz.

The ground team will be actively chasing the balloon throughout the 
afternoon.

You can track us on the ground as ND8D-1 (RF) and ND8D-10(TCP/IP).

If you receive/demod the APRS or SSTV beacon let us know!

Send an email to krewac at mail.uc.edu. Let us know where you were and what 
setup you used to receive from the balloon, also send us any pictures 
you receive from the balloon.
